Digital math manipulatives

Base-Ten & Integer Blocks

This is a digital set of manipulatives—not a calculator. Students build numbers themselves with blue positive blocks and red negative blocks. Matching positive and negative blocks form zero pairs for modeling integers and subtraction.

How the value is foundPositive value − negative value = 0

How the blocks work: blue blocks are positive and red blocks are negative. Drag blocks onto the mat to build a number. Drag each block back to its original tray to remove it.

Zero pairs

Place one red block with one matching blue block. Together they equal zero.

Regroup or Break Apart

Choose the blue or red blocks you want to regroup.

Blue positive blocks
Red negative blocks

You control every block.

Drag or tap blocks to add them to the mat. Place a red negative block with a matching blue positive block to make a zero pair. Regrouping changes the blocks without changing their total value.
